Um, because they are already covered in basically the same health care plan - I know this because my dad is a govt employee, and has a choice every year in a variety of price ranges -the more you want, the more you pay. Some of the high buck choices will be those taxed, (cadillac plans), even if the person paying is a member of congress.
The sign left out the Unions, too.

Carole and Chewy, your dad's health insurance choices are private insurance companies like BCBS, and those will not exist anymore. Obamacare requires that nobody be declined for pre-existing conditions. Think about that. No private company will be able to stay in business if they have to cover people who wait until they have cancer to demand coverage, and why wouldn't we ALL wait until we have cancer to ask for coverage? Cheaper to pay the fine and wait for the cancer than pay the insurance premiums in case we get cancer. Whatever this ungodly concoction is that the Democrats have created, it is not "insurance," and therefore insurance companies will no longer be required.
Amen to that!
