I have learned that happiness is a decision. My faith in God is the solid foundation that brings me peace. When I underestand that HE is in control and that His love for me is perfect, I can rest and not worry. Happiness is not about situations, it is about knowing

My kids laughing makes me happy. There's no way you can watch America's funniest videos with my family and not feel happy afterwards. My husband and the kids crack me up.

HMMM! A random sample of what it means to be happy from philosophers, good and bad: Immanuel Kant:"It is not right for men to seek happiness or wish to be happy, rather they should wish so to conduct their lives that they deserve to be happy."
Aristotle (by way of Mortimer Adler): Happiness consists in the possession of all good things which depends on the right ordering of the multiple goods open to human persons.
